Nagas generally belong to the Indo-Mongoloid tribe living in the adjoining areas of the North Eastern hills of India. Festivals are mostly associated with agricultural operations where the whole Naga community participates and celebrate the ceremonial functions. The locals are friendly, simple, innocent and hospitable yet they are daring and brave. Music plays an integral part in the life for them. They admire love stories and songs of the brave deeds of traditional heroes and warriors, the religious songs with modern tunes excites the visitors to tap with the participants . Traditional ceremonial outfit are tried by the visitors and snap themselves with the attire bngv . The headgear made of exquisitely woven bamboo interlaced with stems of orchid adorned with hornbill’s feather and boar’s teeth, multicolored daos and spears decorated with extinct goat hair, elephant tusk armlets gives a visual description of Nagaland culture and traditions.

Day 1

[Arrival Delhi]:- On arrival in Delhi meet and greet by our representative in Indian traditional with garlanding and escorted to Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

[Dimapur- Kohima]:- Pick up from Dimapur airport, transfer to Kohima (2 hours),local bazaar tour in the evening and overnight in Kohima.

Day 3

[Kohima- Khonoma]:- Providing you with the complimentary Breakfast, Morning Green village tour of Angami tribe.Khonoma and the Moungs. Visit age group house, ceremonial gates. Before reaching hotel visit the famous World War II cemetery, and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 4

[Kohima- Jakhama Village- Kohima]:- After breakfast visit Angami villages - Kisama Naga Heritage Complex. Visit World War II museum in Kisama village. Also visit Kigwema village, another Angami village south of Kohima city. Your accompanying escort will explain and help you understanding various aspects of village life. We will also visit Jakhama village. Late afternoon, visit emporia for souvenirs.

Day 5

[Kohima – Visit Angami villages] After breakfast visit to interest to the local vegetable and fish market and also Touphema Tourist Village. Enroute visit the state museum (closed on Monday and govt. holidays). Followed by a visit to ‘Touphema Bawe’ meaning – the old village.Return to Kohima. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel

Day 6

Drive to Dimapur airport for onward journey to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi, check in at hotel. Relax at hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7

After morning breakfast, half-day city tour including drive past Red fort, Jama Mosque, President & Parliament House. Later free time for shopping at Janpath. After that drive to airport for onward flight journey to way back home.
